Three men, who call themselves “the beard and the moustache club” photographed themselves in ridiculous poses by wearing fake mermaid tails and posed bare-chested on the beach. Their photographs went viral (and for the right reasons) and were printed and used in a calendar for over 40 countries, and also won them a prize of $300,000 which they used for a charitable cause.
The organization which they funded collectively is providing therapeutic support for the people who are mentally challenged and what they do is to teach them how to interact with horses and mules. This all started with a rather hilarious story when a guy, who was a close friend of of Hasan Hai, the club’s founder, uploaded a snapshot of a mermaid man on his social media. The then later challenged others to do the same and they did by dressing themselves up like the mermaid men. The pictures can be seen below:
